Marie was a Predictamancer in service to Faq. After her side fell, she went to the Magic Kingdom where she began working with Janis to mastermind the creation of the Perfect Warlord spell in a bid to war against war itself.

Real World References

Marie's appearance and manner of speaking are similar to that of Miss Cleo, a for-pay telephone psychic who had numerous TV ads in the late 90s and early 2000s.

Her name may be a reference to Marie Laveau, an 18th century voudoun priestess from New Orleans.
