=Proposed Canon=

The Tower of Efdup was a structure in the [[City#City_Zones|Garrison]] of [[Gobwin Knob]]. It somewhat resembled an air traffic control tower with a spire on top.{{erf|1|023}} The Tower was considered a [[City#City Zones|zone]] of the garrison for the purpose of [[Unit]] [[Movement]]. It could only be attacked from Airspace and other [[City#City_Zones|Garrison]] [[City#City Zones|zone]]s.{{Erf|1|116a|'Garrison zone has three parts: Tower, Courtyard, and Dungeon. For purposes of attack, Tower borders Airpsace, Courtyard borders Outer Walls, Dungeon borders Tunnels.'}} It provided a bonus to [[Casters]]{{Erf|1|116a|'If that's the Tower, the Spell casters will get a boost.'}}, though the specifics were never revealed.

==Interior==

The tower consisted of several distinctive sections:
*a section above ground level up to a round observation platform
*the observation platform and parapet
*a spire above the observation platform
All three sections were connected by a round staircase.{{erf|1|026}}

The section above ground level and up to a round observation platform contained:
*the library{{erf|1|043}}
*Eight flights of stairs up, (128 steps) from the library to the Situation Room
*the situation room{{erf|1|045}}
** with the holographic battle table {{ref | [[First Intermission 38]]}}

The observation platform contained:
*an office for the [[Ruler]]
*a parapet that was used for observation{{erf|1|023}}
*a room where the [[Summon Perfect Warlord Spell|summoning spell]] was cast{{erf|1|017}}<sup> and </sup>{{erf|1|023}}

The spire above the observation platform contained:
*living quarters for some units, including [[Parson]]{{erf|1|035}} and probably [[Wanda]]{{erf|1|074}}
*four spikes, on which dwagons perched{{erf|1|031}} {{erf|1|035}}

==Plot==

[[Parson]] lured [[Prince Ansom]] to the parapet under pretense of accepting Parson's surrender.{{erf|1|130}} The surrendering Parson turned out to be [[Bogroll]] in disguise, who tackled Ansom off of his flying carpet to both his and Bogroll's death.{{erf|1|131}}

The Tower was destroyed when [[Sizemore]] collapsed the tunnels under [[Gobwin Knob]] following orders from [[Parson]].{{erf|1|132}}

==The Second Tower of Efdup==

After the destruction of the original tower, and the end of the battle for [[Gobwin Knob]], [[Stanley the Tool|Stanley]] paid to have the [[Capital|city]] repaired to level 5. This included a new tower, with a completely new look. The new tower, unlike the original, is square, stately, and symmetrical. It still has a large number of stairs.

=Speculation=

It is not clear where [[Wanda]]'s living quarters{{erf|1|027}}are located. However given her past displeasure at being quartered in the [[Dungeon]] level during her time in [[Goodminton]], it is likely her chambers are somewhere in the Tower.

=Real World References=

The name is probably a pun on "The Tower of F'd Up", or more colloquially, it's an "F'ed up Tower".

Yay, an active admin!
Is there anything we can do about the spam issues? As admin do you have ban privilege? At the very least it'd be nice if these spam pages got deleted, there are easily over 500 of them, and the amount of memory that takes up is probably no drop in the barrel. -[[User:0beron|0beron]] Feb 23, 2012
