Proposed Canon
A dwagon is a non-humanoid flying Unit with a strong melee combat capacity (via teeth, claws and tail) as well as a ranged projectile (typically a breath weapon). A dwagon can be mounted by a rider,111 and can carry a passenger in addition.11 They are described as "big, scaly, flying lizards with lots of teeth and a bad attitude".1 They are only known to be popped at Gobwin Knob, but they also occur as a "wild" unit. Wild units pop randomly, with dwagons in the Minty Mountains popping with a probability of about 1 in 200 for any given hex2009. Presumably wild dwagon can be seen flying in the distance on the very first page.

Dwagons can be "plated" (armored, like horse barding). It is unclear how this is done: Fabrication, randomly when popped, a shmucker-costing upgrade, etc. It is also unknown whether it is a permanent or temporary upgrade, or if the plating can be moved from one dwagon to another, or whether it is in fact a natural shell which individual dwagons can grow upon reaching a certain level.

Level three and above Cities of Gobwin Knob can Pop most types of dwagons.6051503 As of now, no other types are known.

Dwagons are incapable of carrying Heavy units as seen when Parson orders a yellow Dwagon to let him mount it only to fall slowly to the ground.
Known Dwagon Users
So far the only side known to use Dwagons is the Gobwin Knob faction led by Stanley the Tool, though it has been implied that there are other sides also capable of using them.
It is repeatedly stated that he controls them through the use of the Arkenhammer. But they can be tamed without it as Jillian demonstrates by offering a feral one the bodies of several high elves to feed on.
Some evidence suggests that they may also come in 'armored' and 'unarmored' varieties, or maybe have armor made for them by Natural Dollamancy.
2009

There are no more black / brown dragons in Erfworld.
The story is that during a dramatic story moment in The Order of The Stick Elven mage Vaarsuvius cast an epic spell which wiped out a quarter of all black dragons... which included all of Erfworld's black dragons. Yes, the spell cast by Vaarsuvius was that powerful.

For the purposes of printing the Erfworld books all black / brown dragons were Retconjured to purple.
Some specials can be combined to produce a stronger effect called a combo. An example includes combining a green dwagon's gas attack with a red dwagon's fire breath attack. Another possible example is the DDR spell casted by several archons with the dance fighting, leadership and Foolamancy specials, which enabled them to lead the Royal Coalition in a dance fight.
The shoes are a reference to the Silver Shoes once worn by the wicked witch of the East and given to Dorothy in the Wonderful Wizard of Oz. The fact that the Arkenshoes are red is likely a reference to one of the movie adaptations, in which they are called the Ruby Slippers instead.

Proposed Canon
First Appearance: IPTSF Text 50

Judy Gale was Overlord of Haffaton. She was kept in a drugged stupor at the end of a yellow brick road and close to an emerald City.

She is described as a ghostly looking woman wearing a blue gingham dress and a long silk scarf, with her short white hair streaked with black and adorned with a dirt-covered diamond tiara. Her signamancy indicated personal decay; she is thin, skeletal to the point of weighing nothing at all; her teeth are rotten or missing; she seems to be missing her eyebrows, but marks had been drawn on her skin above her deep brown eyes which sort of resembled them.

She uses walking stick that appears to be broom with the straw burnt mostly off; it is implied to be magical, and capable of Flight. Around one ankle she wears some kind of Magic Item in the shape of an ankle bracelet.

In IPTSF Text 51, Judy Gale uses the word 'kill' instead of 'croak' while speaking to Jillian, but there is no explanation yet as to why she would use this term.

Real World References
She is named for the actress (Judy Garland) and main character (Dorothy Gale) from the Wizard of Oz.

Her gingham blue dress is a reference to the blue gingham dress worn by Judy Garland when portraying Dorothy Gale in the Wizard of Oz movie.

The magic ankle bracelet may be a shackle, but from it artwork it appears far more to resemble an electronic curfew tag.

Speculation
Judy could be a native of Earth, and brought to Erfworld for some currently unknown purpose, much like Parson has been. This would be in keeping with the Wizard of Oz references that this character seems to be heavily involved in.

Special Note
Judy is one of the few characters to have been a subject of Retconjuration; originally named Dorothy, Rob decided she was a more complex character, and Retconned her name to reflect that. 11/15/2012
