Jszellmer: /* The laws of Conservation */

This is an attempt to formulate the Laws of Physics for Erfworld:

The laws of Conservation
# An equal amount of juice going into a spell results in an equal amount of magic being stored.
# An equal number of Shmuckers being spent produces something with the same value of Shmuckers.
## example: a gem worth 10,000 shmuckers is created by converting 10,000 shmuckers through Moneymancy.
# Numbers can neither be created nor destroyed; they can only change form.
## Corollary One: Mathamancy can describe Numbers, but may not directly change Numbers.
## Corollary Two: For every change in Luckamancy, there is an equal and opposing change in Luckamancy.
## Corollary Three: In the end, it all adds up to Zero.

The laws of Entropy (like the 2nd law of Thermodynamics)
# If you replace Motion with Juice through Croakamancy, eventually the Juice will be used up moving the croaked unit.
# The amount of juice used when casting from a scroll is always less than the amount of juice used to create the scroll, the rest being lost to 'storing' the spell in scroll form.
## Example: If Y is the cost in juice to cast a Croakamancy spell and Z is the juice cost of the same spell in Scroll form, then Z - Y = X, the amount of juice 'lost' to storing that spell in scroll form. Thus the total amount of juice is conserved, while accounting for the fact that a scroll costs more in juice than its conventionally cast equivalent.
# The amount of Shmuckers produced by a city is in inverse proportion to the number of cities a side controls.

The law(s) of Similarity
# Similar spells cause similar effects, even if the spells are from different disciplines.
## Example:
*** Predictamancy sees Event X.
*** Mathamancy calculates that Event X has a given probability of occurring.
*** Thinkamancy figures Event X will occur by studying cause and effect that allowed Event X to occur in the past or by putting themselves into another person's shoes and deciding what they would do in the other person's place.
*** Dollamancy Molls and Dirtamancy Rock Golems are both made from stone.

Law of Contagion (rules regarding 'connections' between units and objects)
# All units are bound to their ruler through Natural Thinkamancy, such as Loyalty, Duty and Obedience.
# All units are connected to other units through Grandiocosmic Strings.
# These connections can be manipulated through the use of Thinkamancy, Turnamancy and other external factors.

War Beasts are a class of unit. Some are humanoid in form, but none are sapient. There are two types of War Beasts: Greater War Beasts and Lesser War Beasts. Most sides that can pop War Beasts are limited to popping either Greater War Beasts or Lesser War Beasts; almost none can pop both. As a result, all War Beasts tend to be referred to as "War Beasts," unless examples of both types are present.

Greater War Beasts are powerful and dangerous units and tend to be heavies. In addition, many of them also have to be physically restrained when not in battle, which may be indicitive of a low obedience; which in turn may cause them to either attack without orders or pose a physical danger to their own side. They radiate malice and hostility and it is extremely difficult to get them to stop fighting once they have engaged in combat. Greater War Beasts are frequently used as shock troops due to their ferocious combat capabilities. Due to their long production time, high upkeep and the inherent difficulty in controlling them, even sides that can pop them tend to do so in relatively small numbers.

Lesser War Beasts are usually not heavies. While no less vicious, these Lesser War Beasts tend to rely on large numbers to compensate them for their relatively weak abilities. They also require fewer turns to pop and less upkeep, allowing a side to afford several Lesser War Beasts for the cost of one Greater War Beast. They tend not to need restraining between battles, but have similar control problems when battle is joined.

War Beasts can be kept under control when stacked with a Warlord who posesses the Beastmaster special rule, substituting the Beastmaster's obedience over their own. This is accomplished through a form of Natural Thinkamancy, which also allows the Warlord to see through the eyes of War Beasts within a specific range of the Beastmaster's position.

Non-humanoid Greater War Beasts may be used as mounts by warlords with the Beastmaster special. Lesser War Beasts and humanoid Greater War beasts may not be used as mounts by any unit.

Beastmaster is a type of Special posessed by some Warlords. A form of Natural Thinkamancy allows the relevant Warlord to control War beasts, dangerous units with low obedience, with whom the Warlord is stacked. Without a Beastmaster to control them, many War Beasts would require physical restriants when not in combat, and during combat, would aggressively seek out and destroy other units in ways that may run counter to their side's strategy. This Special also allows the Warlord to see through the eyes of War Beasts within a limited range of their position, in a fashion similar to a Transylvito Warlord seeing through the eyes of a Doombat. Beastmasters can use non-humanoid Greater War Beasts as mounts.

Warlords with the Beastmaster Special are rare, typically popped only by sides that can also pop War beasts. However, a few sides will pop a Beastmaster if they have or will acquire War beasts from another side. In addition, their presence at the forefront of many assaults causes them to have an unusually high casualty rate. Enemy units who understand the capabilities of this kind of unit frequently seek to identify and target Beastmasters, hoping to disrupt War Beast discipline. As a result, while many Sides that can pop War Beasts feel that having a few Beastmasters is virtually mandatory, they also tend to view popping more than one or two Beastmasters at a time to be an inefficient use of resources for a unit with such a specialized ability. In an attempt to preserve Beastmasters for where they will be most useful, Sides with Beastmasters are sometimes unwilling to commit Beastmasters to relatively minor conflicts.

Personality-wise, Beastmasters tend to have aggressive fighting styles and tend to be cunning, rather than intelligent. A desire to get 'stuck in' should not be mistaken for low obedience or a lack of tactical acumen, however. They merely have a preference for simple and direct battle plans that allow for maximum devistation amongst enemy forces. Though they generally disdain complex battle plans, they can and do appreciate them when their role and goals are clearly laid out.

Proposed Canon
Information
Carnymancy is one of the three disciplines of the Magic class Stagemancy; it is aligned with the axis of Fate and composed of all three elements of Life, Motion and Matter.1

Abilities
Carnymancy is described as a magic to fight Fate and [succeed], or in the words of Parson validated by Jeftichew, a carnymancer, "the magic of rigging the game."
*Can rig rules in a unit's favor. It appears that the Carnymancer makes a 'deal' to do this, at least for some of these events, though the exact nature of this bargain is unclear. It is also possible that the unit affected by the deal may then owe a debt to Fate (or whomever), which may have to be paid back in some fashion. It would however seem that Carnymancy spells, rather than modifying unit specials or other stats, might affect the actual rules upon which Erfworld operates.

What is clear is that the effects of Carnymancy must somehow be distinct from the effects of Luckamancy, as they each occupy a separate magical axis, and Luckamancy so far seems less permanent than Carnymancy (one 'borrows' to produce its effects, the other makes a 'deal'; one operates within the 'rules', the other changes them). However, they both may involve some form of cosmic 'debt' that will be paid back in some fashion. Luckamancy pays back good luck (numbers) with an opposing force of bad luck for the unit's side or good luck for the enemy. Carnymancy pays back good Karma (fate) by rigging the rules in one unit's favor while rigging the rules to another unit's detriment (possibly trading one units fate for that of another).

As indicated by the Predictamancer Marie Lavraie, like a carnival carny it may be that carnymancers take non-carnies as stooges or suckers to be played. It is possible that carnymancers lie to these suckers as required to manipulate or alter Fate. After all, who but a master cheat would claim to be able to cheat Fate itself?
*Similarly, Carnymancers may also be related to modern day con artists for their tendency to trick 'marks' into participating in their scams.
*Alternatively, Carnymancers may adhere to a 'trickster' archetype, where their actions are not exclusively meant to harm or inconvenience an individual, but may also help or instruct. At times, however, the two might be difficult to tell apart.
*Both above considerations would fit in with the 'rule-altering' nature of Carnymancy, as it could serve to alter the 'rules' (or morals) which a unit 'plays' by. To keep this distinct from Hippiemancy (which alters a target's perception and might 'suggest' a course of action a unit would already be open to under a given circumstance), Carnymancy might instead influence that unit, to change what they consider to be an acceptable course of action in a given situation. As it is a form of Stagemancy, along this line of thinking it would also not be unreasonable for Carnymancy to be used to 'teach' a unit a new 'trick' (e.g., 'teach' them a new Special such as Archery).

Known Carnymancers
Charlie, the ruler of Charlescomm

Jeftichew, aka Jojo, formerly in service to Unaroyal, now residing in the Magic Kingdom. 1 First Intermission 43

Sean, a Carnymancer that is part of the group of Carnymancers that oppose Parson's passage through the Spacerock portal. Apparently resides in the Magic Kingdom.

Speculation
*Possibly the Fate magic behind the Arkenhammer.
*May reduce enemy abilities, similar to how carnival games are 'fixed' to be disproportionately difficult.
*May have minor abilities of other schools, which would explain why the Arkenhammer has so many different and wild abilities.
*May involve taming of wild units, which would correspond to the Arkenhammer, like in a circus carnival.
*May involve mesmerizing the enemy with flashy production values, if Carnymancy was the extra element in the Vanna "Wheel of Fortune" linked Turnamancy spell. Since carnivals involve fooling the "townies", are there links to Foolamancy?
*Being in the Fate axis, could involve the alteration of cause and effect, totally redefining the show.
*As it is said to alter rules, Carnymancy might be capable of such feats as modifying archery attacks so that they could hit targets across hexes off-turn instead of hanging in midair, or preventing a specific unit from being injured or incapacitated by falls, and so on.
*It may provide a means to dispel or cancel other magic, as Jojo claims that he has a spell that can send Parson (who was summoned by magic) back to Stupidworld.
*Alternately, its effects might operate further outside the rules, as Sylvia suspects that, when they both served Unaroyal, Jojo might have made a deal that would prevent her from ever being permanently croaked.
Stanley the Tool (formerly "Stanley the Plaid") is the Ruler of the Plaid tribe. Also referred to by his enemies as Stanley the Worm. He is the founder of the ideology of Toolism.

Toolism is the belief that Royals are clinging to a dead mandate and the true plan of the Titans is for the possessors of the Arkentools. Specifically, Stanley argues that the Titans have a plan for him, and maybe for the rest of the world too, who cares. His worldview is rather shaken when he discovers himself to be in command of a second Arkentool holder, Wanda.

Pop and early turns
Stanley is a nearly perfect example of the Peter Principle. Before the story started, Stanley started out as a piker-class infantry under the command of King Saline IV of the Plaid. He was probably a truly great Piker, because Saline promoted him to the rank of Warlord. He was probably an adequate Warlord, until he found the Arkenhammer, tamed Dwagons, and became an exceptional Warlord. He would probably have failed as a Chief Warlord, without the advice and support he received from Wanda, but with her aid he eventually became Heir Designate to Saline.1

Wanda contacted Stanley after hearing he found the Arkenhammer. Together they planned to attack Wanda's kingdom of Faq. Wanda had intended for Stanley to lose the battle so she could claim the Arkenhammer herself, but Stanley ultimately won and sacked the kingdom.
Wanda and Faq's Foolamancer, Jack Snipe joined Stanley's side.1

At one point, Stanley took a number of the Plaid's casters, Sizemore Rockwell among them, on a special mission of undisclosed purpose; when Stanley's group returned to Gobwin Knob, they found that it had fallen to an attack from the Gobwins breaking their alliance.
With the dwagons, casters, and the bonus from the Arkenhammer, Stanley easily retook the city and became the Ruler of Gobwin Knob.1 Ansom believed that Stanley orchestrated this rebellion to come to power.1

Despite having the Arkenhammer and the assistance of Wanda, Stanley failed utterly as an Overlord, until Wanda eventually managed to summon Parson.

Recent turns
With Wanda's encouragement, Stanley decided to start a quest for the other Arkentools.1 The exact intention and course of this campaign is unknown, although it is mentioned that he attacked Transylvito faction, Elves and wiped out the Milquetoast Clan.1 He had at least one skirmish with Jetstone.
As a result of the campaign Stanley lost 10 of his 11 cities and all of his leadership corps.1<br>
During the quest, an alliance formed with the aim to defeat Stanley, known as the Royal Crown Coalition.

Story: Chapter 1
Due to the croaking of Manpower the Temporary, Stanley needed to choose a new chief warlord. His adviser, Wanda Firebaugh convinced him to summon the perfect warlord1, who turned out to be Parson Gotti1.

Achievements
*Stanley managed to make his way from common infantry to Overlord, a very rare career advancement
*He found one of the Arkentools, the Arkenhammer, and was attuned to it
*He used the Arkenhammer to tame dwagons (and crack nuts, which sometimes turned into pigeons)
*Since the events in Book One Chapter 1, he has begun to rebuild his Dwagon army.
Charlie
Stanley has a grudge against Charlie and refuses to hire him. The reasons for this have not been revealed beyond that they are "personal." Charlie does tell Jillian that Croaking Stanley would be a step in the right direction towards a good relationship between their respective sides, which appears to indicate that the hostility is reciporcated.

Speculation
The name of the Plaid tribe seems to be purposefully homophonic to "played", which would make Stanley's (and his tribe's) original name an indicator of how much of a tool he really is.

The background behind Stanley's rise to power is unclear. At some point, he was appointed heir designate by King Saline IV. Some time after that Stanley left on a special mission taking some casters with him and King Saline IV was croaked by a Gobwin rebellion. The question is why did the Gobwins rebel? Either Stanley orchestrated the rebellion himself or it was planned by someone else. Stanley's lack of strategic thinking make it less likely he worked alone. It is possible that Wanda desired a more easily manipulated ruler and placed Stanley on the throne, perhaps acting in concert with Jack. It may be that Stanley is actually innocent and had nothing to do with King Saline IV's death. This is admittedly just speculation and we will have to wait for more details to emerge.

Battle style
Stanley's preferred style is Rocking Out. He has for this purpose an order of knights who also can dance fight, the Knights in Stanley's Service, who wear makeup and armor reminiscent of real life band KISS, and so far the only song they have been seen rocking out to is indeed a KISS song. This is a well known fact even in the alliance, and the forces of Transylvito prepared themselves for this tactic when they planned the trap in the choke point to FAQ, donning costumes reminiscent of the musical West Side Story and dance fighting to a modified version of the Jet theme song and the song "Cool".

Stanley's attunement to the Arkenhammer is what allows him to Rock Out, a style considered Titanic and superior to mere Dance-Fighting. Before he became Overlord, Stanley won many battles for King Saline IV and is likely a powerful warlord. He defeated Caesar and his stack with a single swing of the Arkenhammer.

Possible Character Development
Stanley has shown some instances of character growth through the story. He may have been humbled somewhat by the events of Book One. His series of defeats and nearly being killed himself seem to have shaken him. Upon his return to Gobwin Knob, Stanley mentioned that he was trying to get better with names. He even acknowledged Sizemore which he had never done before apparently. Stanley surprised Parson when he uncharacteristically apologized and admitted that he had been wrong to flee with the dwagons.

Stanley became very insecure after the Battle for Gobwin Knob. He seemed suspicious and jealous of Wanda and her new decrypted army. He seemed to miss the days when he could lead armies, fight battles and tame dwagons but now he was stuck in the capital while he watched the action from the sidelines. Parson using his bracer works out the odds of Dwagons popping in the minty mountains and sets it up so that Stanley can once again feel useful by taming more Dwagons, possibly two or three a turn.

When Wanda suggested croaking and decrypting Jack in order to conserve the remaining healomancy scrolls, Stanley decided to turn her down. He has begun to feel that Wanda is a little bit out of control and perhaps killing his own troops and decrypting them is a bit heartless. Also he actually admitted to liking Jack, probably for his saving Stanley's life.

A tie-in is made with Paul Stanley, singer/guitarist of KISS, whose make-up he wears for rocking-out with the Arkenhammer.

*Alternatively, Carnymancers may adhere to a 'trickster' archetype, where their actions are not explicitly meant to harm or inconvenience an individual, but may also help or instruct.

Charlie is the Ruler of Charlescomm, a Side in Erfworld. Charlie is not Royal, so he is an Overlord. The following is known from the decrypted Archons: Charlescomm is the only city possessed by Charlie's side and is level 5; Charlie pops only Archons, of which he had just over 600 at the time of TBfGK; the only other units who are permanently on his side are golems, of which there were about 700 at the time of TBfGK; Charlie often hires casters from the Magic Kingdom for specific jobs, though he does not pop them.

Charlie is a Carnymancer. In addition, he is attuned to a powerful artifact - the Arkendish, one of four known Arkentools.

He was once known as the wizard and ruler of Efbaum, the strongest side of its time. However, his own daughter, Olive Branch, betrayed and attempted to murder him. He was ultimately overthrown by Haffaton. While Judy Gale was supposed to croak him, she let him go because she appreciated his charm and he went on to found Charlescomm.

Other than these facts, nothing else is known about Charlie. He apparently never leaves the main tower of Charlescomm, where he lives with a personal guard of Archons who are rarely seen by any of Charlescomm's normal soldiers. All communication with Archons or clients is done through the Arkendish, where Charlie only manifests as a "calm male voice" sometimes accompanied with "a slowly changing pattern of soothing colors." 2009 All existing Charlescomm units have popped during Charlie's rule, and none of them know where Charlie came from beforehand or where he acquired the Arkendish from. Charlie does not permit questions about himself, from either his units or clients. 2009

Charlie has made a magical deal with Parson and has the ability to force Parson to make twelve mathamancy calculations on Parson's Mathamancy Bracer. So far, Charlie has spent four of these on:

*Two calculations on the strength of Gobwin Knob vs. hypothetical Archon attacks. These calculations were requested immediately after the deal was made.1
*One calculation on the odds of Gobwin Knob still standing after at the end of the current turn.1
*One calculation on the odds that forfeiting the eight remaining calculations would be a fair exchange for learning why the Archon units lost at Gobwin Knob now fight for Stanley. The calculation (a 4.14% chance of the exchange being worth it) led Charlie to refuse the deal. This calculation backfired: it taught Parson how to use his bracer to perform sophisticated calculations (and meta-calculations) on abstract future events.2009

Charlie's Rules
The Archons in Charlie's employ have to follow a set of rules. They are somewhat reminiscent of the Ferengi Rules of Acquisition though, given Rule #3, not quite as extreme. The comparison is loose, at best, and there has been no in comic comparison by Parson yet. It is possible that there is a combination of the Rules of Acquisition and the natural tendancy of Carnymancy to 'rig the game' to rig the 'game' of war in Erfworld to sow additional conflict which Charlie can be hired to solve. The following rules are known:
* Charlie's Rule #3: We are in the business of solving problems for our clients. Corollary: Creating problems for our clients creates business.
* Charlie's Rule #9: If they swing, make 'em miss. If they flee, make 'em run somewhere worse. But if they just stand there, pull the rug out from under 'em.
* Charlie's Rule #15: Some things are more important than money. Corollary: Most things are not more important than money.
* Charlie's Rule #17: Don't bet on the lame runner, unless you know you can shoot the healthy one. Corollary: Betting on the healthy runner and shooting the lame one is the better bet.
* Charlie's Rule #19: Charlie's rules need to be bent sometimes. (Presumed Corollary: Most of the time Charlie's rules do not need to be bent. Alternate corollary: Other rules need to be bent most of the time.)

Relationships
The Magic Kingdom
Charlie maintains an excellent reputation as an employer with most of the inhabitants of The Magic Kingdom.2009

Temple of the Thinkamancers
However, the Thinkamancers of the Magic Kingdom , led by The Great Minds that Think Alike, oppose Charlie because he knows too many of their secrets about Thinkamancy. The Thinkamancers may have helped create the Summon Perfect Warlord Spell as part of their plan to eliminate Charlie.

Wanda
Wanda's attunement to the Arkenpliers poses a very serious threat to Charlie's existence. As long as War is simply a matter of different sides competing for economic resources, then most Royals will not hesitate to hire a non-royal Mercenary like Charlie, if it seems profitable to do so. But by allowing Ansom to spread the idea that there is an inherent ideological conflict between Royals and Units attuned to the Arkentools, Wanda damaged Charlie's ability to persuade Royals to hire him.

Charlie's primary objective at the Assault on Jetstone was to have Wanda croaked, in order to discredit Toolism. But Jillian's revelation that Wanda does not hate Charlie and would probably even be willing to work for him could dramatically change Charlie's relationship with Wanda.

Parson Gotti
Queen Jillian
Prince Tramennis
Charlie sees Tramennis as someone he could potentially work with. He's given Tramennis most of the information he has on Parson for free, and offered a sufficiently large reward for croaking or capturing the Archons who were decrypted to allow Tramennis to become Jetstone's heir. If he could establish a strong enough working relationship with Tramennis, he might decide to end his secret alliance with Jillian, who has shown herself to be dangerously unpredictable. Unfortunately for Charlie, though, Tramennis is proving to be as willful about following his own agenda as Jillian. He has decided to ignore Charlie's strong recommendation that he not parley with Gobwin Knob.

Speculation
The Arkendish gives him unmatched abilities in Thinkamancy1, but the extent of these abilities is not described. It may explain his ability to hack into the supposedly secure Eyebooks.1 It may also explain his understanding of Parson's Real World leetspeak chat lingo in Eyebook messages, if its power extends to reading surface thoughts at long range, or through the Eyebook which already provides that function, though his largely unknown background from before his possession of the Arkendish might hold that explanation. If the Arkendish can intercept messages sent by other Thinkamancers, it would explain how he learned that Queen Jillian had rebuilt Faq.

Maggie and some other people in Erfworld consider Charlie enigmatic and bizarre.1 Stanley the Plaid has, in Wanda's words, a "strong personal dislike for Charlie."1

It is possible that Charlie is actually from Parson's World. This would also explain his understanding of Parson's references. It would also explain his "playing style": a power-player with cheat codes (the Arkendish) creating an unbalanced side (Charlescomm, with no farms or mines or regular troops) and a highly-specialized unbalanced unit-class (the Archons).

Charlie is not a loyal person as the term is normally used, and is content to play just about all Sides so that he ends up maximizing his Side's gain during a negotiation; however, to protect Charlescomm's reputation, he does not break alliances outright, nor will he abandon an Alliance that has ended a contract. He has been known to make his services prohibitively expensive, in order to avoid the appearance that he is contracting with the Side opposing a previous employer in a conflict. This is inconsistent with normal mercenary behavior, and may help explain the confusion other Erfworlders have concerning his reliability.

Charlie provides his employees with significant freedom in providing their services to clients. Employees are permitted to provide freebies or not, at their own discretion.

Charlie seems to be pretty good at remembering his underlings' names, as opposed to Stanley, at least when remembering his archons' names.

After the Battle of Gobwin Knob, most of the members of the Royal Crown Coalition believe he is working with Stanley and refuse to deal with him. However, he has managed to form a tentative alliance with Queen Jillian.

Parson suspects that Charlie is directly behind the gobwins being missing from Gobwin Knob. This might be a form of psychological subterfuge to undermine Parson's role in GK's affairs, as Charlie and Parson are intellectual adversaries, while Ansom, the current chief warlord is more of a nuisance. Given Stanley the Tool's responses, this seems the most likely explanation.

If there are any male Archons in Charlie's service, then one of them may be named Bosley.

Though Charlie is universally referred to by male pronouns, it may be that "he" is in fact female. In , the video Thinkagram shown to Prince Sammy flickers to a "ghostly female face" before settling on the city of Haggar. Since Charlie communicates directly via the Arkendish and not through a Thinkamancer unit, there should be no one else in the Thinkagram circuit, so it is plausible that this female face belonged to Charlie. (Hiding even gender, as a detail of personal identity, would be very much in character for Charlie.) Alternatively, it could have just been the Archon spying on Haggar's capital &mdash; Charlie called the Archon (causing her face to appear briefly for the outgoing thinkagram) and asked her to open a thinkagram to him so that he could relay what she was seeing to Prince Sammy "live". [This doesn't rule out Charlie being female of course but this particular piece of evidence is not very strong.]

Charlie may have spies in the Magic Kingdom. The dossier on Parson that Charlie gave to Prince Tramennis spoke of Parson entering the Magic Kingdom. The only way he could have acquired this information is if someone in the Magic Kingdom told him. (That same briefing spoke of Parson as being a Mathamancer, making no mention of Parson's Bracer. It's possible that Charlie still has plans to steal the Bracer for himself, or simply doesn't want Tramennis or his side knowing about the bracer.)

Charlie was once known as the Wizard of Efbaum, known as the most powerful side of it's time, before it was conquered by Haffaton. Judy, the Overlady of Haffaton, indicates she is originally from our Earth (specifically Kansas). The numerous parallels to the story of the Wizard of Oz support the theory that Charlie also originates our world, much like the wizard in the story.

Real World References
Charlie and Charlie's Archons are references to a television series Charlie's Angels featuring 3 young women working as private investigators for their boss, Charlie, whose face is never seen on screen. If this homage continues, we will never see Charlie's face, though we may catch sight of extremities or a silhouette.

His eyebook name is based on the title of the show Charles in Charge.

The Archon Rules of Behaviour established by Charlie are reminiscent of the Ferengi Rules of Acquisition.

When Parson first contacts Charlie via Thinkamancy1, the mental picture in Parson's head (red jumpsuit, black background) is a duplicate of the "telepathy" used in the television series Mork &amp; Mindy, when Mork is conversing with his superior, Orson.

His original title, the Wizard of Efbaum, is a reference to The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.
Proposed Canon
A Caster link is made when two or three Casters are joined physically (via holding hands or by a chain, for instance) and mentally through a Thinkamancer in order to create a whole greater than the sum of its parts. The linked Casters can perform Spells far more powerful and complex than any single Caster could consider possible. Casters united in this way are said to be linked.

A Thinkamancer joins with one or two other Casters to create a combined consciousness. The process of creating the link can be aided by each Caster recalling how it felt when it first cast a Spell of its Discipline, which is described as warm, comforting, and familiar.1 The casters then lose their individuality and revert to representing only their Discipline. It is still possible for a Caster to remember its former existence1, but using this knowledge strains and might break the link.1 The link is fragile, and can be broken by merely calling one of the Casters by its name, so the linked Casters are referred to by their Disciplines instead (ie. Thinkamancer, Dirtamancer, Lookamancer, etc.).

Breaking the link can result in damage to the minds of the Casters, but this is similar to the backlash of other Thinkamancy Spells, so a good Thinkamancer can protect herself (or himself) from the damage by forcing the other Casters to bear the brunt.1. Such backlash can lead to severe trauma, including temporary catatonia, insanity, or death. 1

A two Caster link may be dissolved by the Thinkamancer that began the link without harming either Caster. A three Caster link cannot be safely broken without the help of other Thinkamancers.

Such powerful spells as ending another side's turn requires a link-up.
Casters involved
* Charlie
* Vanna
* It is not certain that Carnymancy was actually used in this particular link, but since Charlie is a Carnymancer, and this particular spell impacted the rules (as Carnymancy is 'the art of rigging the game'), it is very likely that he provided his own discipline in addition to the Thinkamancy granted by the Arkendish. The powers of Carnymancy are unknown, but the "production values" of the spell were pretty high, and Carnymancy is likely the most presentational magic around.

Abilities
* Appears to be the first ranged link-up &mdash; i.e. it doesn't require physical contact between casters &mdash; most likely due to the power of the Arkendish. Charlie was unable to broadcast to other Archons during the link, although he did manage to send a terse thinkagram to King Slately when the latter risked breaking the link.
* Forcing a side to end their turn early. This was a surprise to both Jetstone and Gobwin Knob, so it's unlikely regular Turnamancy can do this, even with a master-class caster.
* Vanna states that the spell cost two turns' worth of juice; unless casters can "hold over" juice from preceding turns, this implies that Charlie shared some of the juice cost. This may or may not be a normal function of a caster link.
* A pair of linked Thinkamancers standing in different nodes of amplification can send and detect G-string vibrations far better than a single caster.
Thinkamancer/Luckamancer/Mathamancer
Some sides combine Mathamancy and Luckamancy1. Sizemore explicitly compares the power of the combination to that of the Eyemancer link-up, which inspires some people to believe this a link-up with a Thinkamancer.

Sizemore specifically states "You pair your Mathamancers with some Luckamancers." Both the term pair and the plurals of Mathamancers and Luckamancers (since a 4 caster link is impossible) suggest against a trimancer link.

Abilities
* Targeted Luck: The Mathamancer determines the most important battles and the Luckamancer tilts them in his side's favour.

(Thinkamancer/Thinkamancer)/Multiple others
In theory a two Thinkamancer link up could function as a single, much more powerful, Thinkamancer for the creation of a second link up. This may allow a link up of 'Four' casters, and there by link up featuring a whole school of casting besides Eyemancy, or a 'three' caster link up that could be safely disolved without assistance.

It is also with in the realm of reason that if a linked pair of Thinkamancers can function as a single for such a link, there is no reason multiple of these groups couldn't link together... Maybe this is what the greath minds are thinking alike about.

Since the Arkendish can provide Thinkamancy to a caster of a different discipline, effectively making 1 caster count as 2, it might be possible to use the Arkendish for a 4 discipline linkup.

Proposed Canon
First Appearance: IPTSF Text 50

Judy Gale was Overlord of Haffaton and the attuned wielder of the Arkenshoes. She was kept in a drugged stupor at the end of a yellow brick road and close to an emerald City.

She is described as a ghostly looking woman wearing a blue gingham dress and a long silk scarf, with her short white hair streaked with black and adorned with a dirt-covered diamond tiara. Her signamancy indicated personal decay; she is thin, skeletal to the point of weighing nothing at all; her teeth are rotten or missing; she seems to be missing her eyebrows, but marks had been drawn on her skin above her deep brown eyes which sort of resembled them.

She uses walking stick that appears to be broom with the straw burnt mostly off; it is implied to be magical, and capable of Flight. Around one ankle she wears some kind of Magic Item in the shape of an ankle bracelet.

Judy is confirmed to come from another world, possibly even Stupidworld. In IPTSF Text 51, Judy Gale uses the word 'kill' instead of 'croak'. In IPTSF Text 62, she uses the word 'year' to refer to a time period of 365 turns. In addition, she claims to be from a place called 'Kansas'.

Judy was summoned by Charlie for many of the same reasons that Parson Gotti was. Her summoning was directly responsible for the croaking of Bell, ruler of Easteros. After attuning to the Arkenshoes, which she had taken from Bell's body, she infiltrated Westeregg, destroyed Blair, siezed the Arkendish and took it to Charlie.

Real World References
She is named for the actress (Judy Garland) and main character (Dorothy Gale) from the Wizard of Oz.

Her gingham blue dress is a reference to the blue gingham dress worn by Judy Garland when portraying Dorothy Gale in the Wizard of Oz movie.

Her drug addiction is reminiscent of Judy Garland's struggle with alcohol and drugs, which damaged Garland's career and eventually killed her at age 47.

The magic ankle bracelet may be a shackle, but from it artwork it appears far more to resemble an electronic curfew tag.

Speculation
It is known for a fact that Judy comes from another world. She could be a native of Earth, and was brought to Erfworld for many of the same reasons Parson has been. This would be in keeping with the Wizard of Oz references that this character seems to be heavily involved in. However, she is unusually short for a Stupidworlder and her name is the sort of reference Parson would be capable of recognizing as one of Erworld's jokes, which implies that she might come from a different version of earth than the one Parson comes from. Or she may have been summoned in part because of her familiarity with L. Frank Baum's fictional world of Oz, in the same way Parson Gotti was summoned because of his fondness for breakfasting on marbits. Judy Gale may not be her birth name--she may have acquired a second, Erfworldian name, similar to how Parson acquired the title Lord Hamster.

Special Note
Judy is one of the few characters to have been a subject of Retconjuration; originally named Dorothy, Rob decided she was a more complex character, and Retconned her name to reflect that. 11/15/2012

The magic ankle bracelet may be a shackle, but from it artwork it appears far more to resemble an electronic curfew tag.

Speculation
It is known for a fact that Judy comes from another world. She could be a native of Earth, and brought to Erfworld for some currently unknown purpose, much like Parson has been.

First Appearance: TBFGK 42 (voiceover dialog only); LIAB 39 (presence represented by various avatars)

The City is, of course, related to the Emerald City from the Wizard of Oz and presumably named for the author of that story L. Frank Baum.

Its name may sound like 'F-Bomb' when spoken aloud.

Judy refers to the city as 'old el-Efbaum.' Since 'el' means 'the' in Spanish, this effectively makes the city's name 'the Efbaum,' simultaneously incorporating L. F. Baum's name and 'the F-Bomb.'
This Special also allows the Warlord to see through the War Beast's eyes, in a fashion similar to a Transylvito Warlord seeing through the eyes of a Doombat.

As a result, Sides view popping more than one or two Beastmasters at a time to be an inefficient use of resources for a unit with such a specialized ability.

Magic101
Proposed Canon
A Magic Item is an item that is both magical and made by a mortal. An item with magical powers created by the Titans is called an Artifact.1

Known Magic Items
<!-- Let's alphabetize these. -->

3D Glasses
Parson's 3D Glasses were discovered in his first Stupid Meal1. They grant him one of the abilities normally associated with Commanders native to Erfworld: when worn, they allow Parson to view the stats of a Unit such as Move, Hit, Attack, and Defense, as well as any Natural Abilities of the Unit. They also allow Parson to see the name of a Unit as well as the Discipline of Casters, which is not an innate ability of Warlords and Casters.

Bracer Blaster
Prince Ossomer of Gobwin Knob, (formerly Jetstone), carries a bracer created by Ace Hardware that, when the word "Tesla" is uttered, fires a "teleforce" ray (force beam action that really lights up!) that was powerful enough to knock Ansom off of his carpet. LIAB 8

Erfmover spade
Used by Sizemore to dig large amounts of dirt.LIAB Text 45 This may be only the material focus of his spell, and may not be usable by anyone else, or only by other Dirtamancers.

Eyebooks
Stanley the Tool and his main subordinates (Wanda Firebaugh, Sizemore Rockwell, and Parson Gotti) carry eyebooks. They resemble ordinary hardback books, of variable size (see below). They were created by Stanley's trio of linked casters, using the three disciplines of Eyemancy (Lookamancy, Thinkamancy, and Foolamancy). Once created, they function under their own power, and continued to do so after the trio was unlinked.

An eyebook is able to transcribe messages from the user's thoughts and send them to another user's Eyebook. Parson also uses his to keep a journal (called a "Klog", derived from "book log", in the same way that a real-world term "blog" is derived from "web log"). Eyebooks also have the ability to change size, conveniently shrinking to be easily carried and growing to a size suitable for the user. This is not a power unique to them, however.

The name is a play on the iBook type of laptop computer.

Charlie is able to communicate with Parson via his Eyebook, which no-one at Gobwin Knob believes should be possible. On learning this, Parson wonders whether Charlie is also able to eavesdrop on other Eyebook communications and read his Klog.

Eyemancer Table
During the Battle for Gobwin Knob, Stanley's forces utilized an Eyemancer Table created by the same linked casters that made the Eyebooks. The table's primary functions allowed Gobwin Knob to observe enemy troop deployments and direct their own troops from a secure, central location, with a greater degree of clarity, speed, detail, and accuracy than the maps and sand tables combined with scouts or independent Lookamancers employed by all other sides.

Flying Carpet
Prince Ansom has a flying carpet. It resembles a conventional carpet, either rolled up (which is Ansom's usual style of riding) or spread out. The type of magic it uses has not been specified.

The carpet can carry at least two riders.

Laurel of Napster
The Laurel of NapsterLIAB Text 11 was created thousands of turns ago by a three-way caster link between a Thinkamancer, Hat Magician and Date-a-mancer. The Laurel, while not providing specific numbers, gives the user intuitive knowledge about the probable outcome of a given fight between two combatants. It is possible that the laurel provides concrete numbers when used by a genuine Date-a-mancer or Mathamancer. It is currently in the possession of Chief Warlord Duncan Scone of Faq.

The Laurel of Napster is a reference to the Real World Napster, the file sharing software turned pay site that allowed users to share music by matching them to each other.

"Magic Dust"
Wanda Firebaugh appears to use yellow dust with magical properties to change the memories of the hobgobwin Mung.1 This may have been a spell cast with a visual effect or physical component.
Similar Magic Dust is used by Maggie when she influences Stanley to appoint Parson to Chief Warlord. While it is drawn from her purse, it is unclear whether it is a magic item or simply how her Thinkamancy manifests in this instance, but in both cases the applied effect of is a magical "suggestion".

Mathamancy Bracer
A plastic bracer that arrived in Parson's second Stupid Meal. With a neat little groove for his calculator watch to fit into. Apparently a powerful Mathamancy based item (or possibly an Artifact1) of great interest to Mathamancy dependent or interested factions like CharlesComm11. Able to calculate probabilities for both concrete questions based on known information (such as the likelihood of winning a battle) and abstract ones based on unknowables (such as whether knowing a given piece of information will turn out to be worth the cost of acquiring it).

Message Hats
Jetstone has at least one pair of message hats. They resemble top hats. Presumably, they use Hat Magic, but this has not been specified.<BR>
Stanley and Wanda communicate with them after the Battle of Gobwin Knob 2009; Queen Bea of Unaroyal used one to communicate with Don King 2009.

A written message may be placed into the sending hat and transmitted to the receiving hat which rumbles to alert the owner. These particular hats only work in one direction; however, other hats capable of two-way communication may exist. (Upon being given the sending hat of the pair, Jillian Zamussels asked if it was "dual use" and was told that it was "abjuration only". This appears to imply that the former term describes a two-way hat and the latter describes a one-way sending hat.) Jillian used what may have been two-way hats to communicate with Count Vinny. First Intermission 48

According to 1.10, "Hoffa" is the magic word to transmit the message (after a Teamster leader who famously disappeared), "Livingston" is the magic word to retrieve a message (after an explorer who was famously found).

King Slately of Jetstone uses his crown as a message hat to initiate communication with Don King. The command word is "Pinochet" (possibly because General Pinochet of Chile was famous for making opponents of his regime "disappear").LIAB Text 42

Staff of Suckage
Used originally by Wanda TBFGK_119, equipped by Parson in preparation for his 50-yard dash through the Magic Kingdom into Spacerock. This staff prevents spells being cast on the wielder, as seen when Wanda's mount is croaked but the same spell barrage bounces off her. TBFGK_121 This may not be the formal name of the magic item, and simply a derogatory term used by Jeftichew
The staff may not nullify all magic, as Parson worries that he could still be incapacitated by the Thinkamancers at Portal Park. And it is only able to nullify a single Shockamancy blast from Slately's scepter before disintegrating.

The Sword of Ruthlessness
Parson's Sword arrived in his Stupid Meals - one part per day for three consecutive days. According to the Luckamancy Charms cereal box1, the sword is the final item necessary to turn Parson into the "Perfect Warlord" that the Summoning Spell intended him to be. (The other items being his 3D Glasses and Mathamancy Bracer). Stated abilities include Leadership, Combat and Ruthlessness.

Speculation
Magic equipment worn on the head, such as Parsons 3D glasses and Message Hats, may have their powers increased by Hat Magic, or they may only be able to be created by Hat Magic.

Chillaxe
Dame Olive Branch of Haffaton, is a Florist that carries a musical instrument called a "chillaxe". It is not entirely clear whether this item is a true magic item, or simply a tool that Olive Branch uses to affect her spell, though it is certainly possible. IPTSF Text 12

The Chillaxe was destroyed by Jillian. IPTSF Text 62

Sizemore Rockwell's Shovel
The shovel used by Sizemore Rockwell to dig the tunnel between portals in the Magic Kingdom may be a Dirtamancy related magic item. However, it could easily also be a simple shovel that counts as a focus or 'grounding' agent through which Sizemore can channel his spells and more easily affect the world around him.

Real World References
'Chillaxe' is a portmanteau of 'Chill/Chill Out' and 'Relax,' all of which can be used in an attempt to defuse conflict or calm people down. In IP(TSF) 13, Olive Branch's Chillaxe has the form of an electric guitar. 'Axe' is a slang term for a guitar, so her 'Axe' makes things 'Chill' between two sides.
First Appearance LIAB 57,

Sgt. Pepper is a placeholder name for the as yet unnamed caster dressed in clothing reminiscent of the Beatles character "Sgt. Pepper". He was first seen in LIAB 57:9 next to the orange portal in the background when Sizemore encounters Janis and Marie, and in LIAB 57:13 he is looking back at the trio as they walk away. His next appearance was in LIAB 60 (LIAB 60:4, LIAB 60:7 and LIAB 60:8) where he is waiting behind Gobwin Knob's portal for Parson Gotti's second entrance to the Magic Kingdom.
In LIAB 61 (LIAB 61:12 and LIAB 61:13) he is seen chasing Parson through the "underground passage" Sizemore created for Parson.
Speculation
It has been speculated that Sgt. Pepper is actually Jeftichew.
Carnymancy is one of the three disciplines of the Magic class Stagemancy; it is aligned with the axis of Fate and composed of all three elements of Life, Motion and Matter.1

Carnymancy is described by an apparent carnymancer as a magic to fight Fate and [succeed], or in the words of Parson validated by Jeftichew, a carnymancer, "the magic of rigging the game."

*Alternatively, Carnymancers may adhere to a 'trickster' archetype, where their actions are not explicitly meant to harm or inconvenience an individual, but may also help or instruct.

Fanon
If based on real world scarecrows, Scarecrow units may have little or no move or attack, making them exclusively garrison units serving as sentries. To compensate for this, they may have natural Lookamancy to pierce Foolamancy or natural Shockamancy to harm or demoralize enemy troops. If based more on the Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz (as the one Haffaton is shown to employ), Erfworld Scarecrows may accompany armies in addition to garrison duties and serve as combat troops. If capable of utilizing Lookamancy or Shockmancy, they may also be used as combat support troops, aiding the soldiers who do the bulk of the actual fighting

Real World References
In the Wizard of Oz, one of the three main supporting characters to Dorothy was the Scarecrow. The Scarecrow had no brain, and sought the Wizard to try to get one. Dorothy, like Parson, was pulled from her World (which was suppsed to be ours) and into an alternate reality, Oz, where magic existed. Oz bears many similarities to Erfworld, but the greatest difference is that it is not a game world. Parson's statement before leaping through the portal near the conclusion of the Battle for Gobwin Knob, "There's no place like home," was the phrase Dorothy used to return to her own world. Parson was, obviously, not so lucky.

Due to their long production time, high upkeep and the inherent difficulty in controlling them, even sides that can pop them do so sparingly.

War Beasts can be controlled when stacked with a Warlord who posesses the Beastmaster special rule. This is accomplished through a form of Natural Thinkamancy, which also allows the Warlord to see through the War Beasts eyes.

Non-humanoid Greater War Beasts may be used as mounts by warlords with the Beastmaster special. Lesser War Beasts and humanoid Greater War beasts may not be used as mounts by any unit.
To avoid an edit war.. Talking here - there seems to be a few unconfirmed entries in these lists.

Known pairings are parings for which there nookie is directly implied by the characters or for which we have "Fade-to-black" evidence in the comic. IE: Wanda and Jillian

Possible is "It makes sense, but we have no real proof", Possible does not mean "It could be imagined that they had nookie". IE: Maggie and Sizemore they could fall under known pairings, but all we have is a throaway line that their linking was enjoyable for both of them

The following have no basis at all in the comic and should probably be removed unless they've been revealed.
Jillian & Three Edged
Ace and Cubbins
Olive and Wanda

Nookie could be a form of Natural Date-a-mancy. In addition to the aformentioned possible influence on heirs, the nature of the emotions involved with such an act could both build and destroy relationships, not only between individual units, but also sides. A study of who is (or is not) engaging in Nookie with whom and why may give a breakdown of relationships between units and how to use that against the units in question.

This Special also allows the Warlord to see through the War Beast's eyes, in a fashion similar to a Transylvito Warlord seeing through the eyes of a Doombat. Beastmasters can use non-humanoid Greater War Beasts as mounts.

Warlords with the Beastmaster Special are rare, usually limited to sides that can pop War Beasts or frequently trade for such units. In addition, their presence at the forefront of many assaults causes them to have an unusually high casualty rate. Enemy units who understand the capabilities of this kind of unit frequently seek to identify and target Beastmasters, hoping to disrupt War Beast discipline. As a result, Sides view popping more than one or two Beastmasters at a time to be an inefficient use of resources for a unit with such a specialized ability. In an attempt to preserve Beastmasters for where they will be most useful, Sides with Beastmasters are sometimes unwilling to commit Beastmasters to relatively minor conflicts.

Proposed Canon
Information
Rhyme-o-mancy is one of the three disciplines of the Magic class Stagemancy; it is aligned with the axis of Numbers and composed of all three elements of Life, Motion and Matter.1

*Tramennis has stated a relationship between Rhyme-o-mancy and music, which might imply a link to dance fighting.

Abilities
* Poetic Incantations can allow Casters to focus on their work, possibly aiding spells. However, the poem must both be cleber and rhyme, otherwise the spell they are trying to cast may fail completely.

* Even Warlords can use Rhymes for various purposes, like morale or Dance Fighting, though this would be Natural Rhyme-o-mancy.

Known Rhyme-o-mancers
As of yet, no known Rhyme-o-mancer has been introduced.

Speculation
It appears that Warlords, Casters and (possibly) even regular troops are capable of using Natural Rhyme-o-mancy, though only a Caster who posesses that discipline may use the Real Deal.

There have been several apparent instances of Rhyme-o-mancy being used in the comic, though how many are Natural Rhyme-o-mancy, Genuine or even not Rhyme-o-mancy at all (but merely have the appearance of Rhyme-o-mancy) are a bit unclear.

* One apparent example of direct Rhyme-o-mancy, a short but complex poem on the subject of Transylvito, Don King, and Queen Jillian.2010 It describes the side's current situation, and casts the Don's recent actions negatively. But the final lines seem to indicate that the poem is actually a spell: "Perchance he enchants, he incants, he cancels the antsy with a rant in Rhyme-o-mancy." Based on that wording, we may speculate that this spell is intended to allay the fears of the Don's followers. If it "cancels the antsy" it may improve loyalty and morale, or at least stop negative gossip.

The poem is accompanied by a picture of Benjamin in the court of Transylvito, standing somewhat apart from the Don and his warlords. Benjamin is most likely a Moneymancer who has the ability to cast outside his discipline. It should be noted that Benjamin Franklin, whom Erfworld Benjamin physically resembles, was a noted polymath. His Rhyme-o-mancy abilities may partly explain why Transylvitian forces are generally good at dance fighting.

* Another possible example of Rhyme-o-mancy may be the rhyming that troops do during dance fighting. Dance fighting may be some form of Natural Stagemancy.

* The night before the final battle for Gobwin Knob, when the troops in the courtyard sing a song insulting Jetstone and Transylvito.1 It does not appear to have any direct magical effect; its only apparent effect seems to be angering Prince Ansom and many other coalition members. This may be a form of Natural Rhyme-o-mancy, as non-Casters are taking part.

* When Wanda attacks Ansom when he is alone on top of the wall. 1 She seems to be speaking mostly to herself--a personal call to arms, perhaps--but it may also be a form of intimidation, as the last line finishes just as she attacks Ansom.

* When Ace Hardware attacks the Decrypted Archons above Jetstone with a magic item he created for the purpose of capturing them. 2 Like Wanda, he seems mostly to be speaking to himself, and since he appears to be fighting alone, he's likely trying to give himself some sort of edge so that he can go up against the numerically superior foe and successfully capture one of them.

* In Inner Peace (Through Superior Firepower), when Wanda attempts to use Rhyme-a-Mancy when uncroaking Tommy Firebaugh. This may have helped to extend the amount of time before Tommy decayed.

* When Olive Branch uses a song as part of the spell to turn both the city of Haffaton and the city of Efbaum into no combat zones.

* If dance-fighting and music ARE related, then possible applications could be allowing Warlords to be popped/promoted with dance-fighting as an ability, making magic items that grant it, leading a dance fight themselves (possibly for a whole army or side while under a Thinkamancy link?). They might also be able to "Rock" as Stanley called it, though that would probably show up at higher levels of caster.

Due to its position on the Numbers Axis, and its association with Life, Motion, and Matter simultaneously, Rhyme-o-mancy could be an attempt to life up the underlying Numbers of Erfworld in a way that helps the Rhyme-o-mancer effect Life, Motion, and Matter in Erfworld. This would support how non-Rhyme-o-mancers try to use simple Rhymes (possibly a form of natural Rhyme-o-mancy) to positively affect their actions, through a proper alignment of the Numbers to create the desired effect on either Life, Motion, or Matter.
Jeftichew (as spelled by Queen Bea in First Intermission 43), or Jefftichew, also going by "Jojo" (as he introduces himself in LIAB 62), is a Carnymancer formerly in the service of Unaroyal, now residing in the Magic Kingdom. Jeftichew is also the caster hiding behind the Gobwin Knob portal when Parson Gotti enters the Magic Kingdom,2 and who confronts him in the tunnel excavated by Sizemore under Portal Park.2 Note that Jeftichew's white eye color is identical to Sylvia's, a former Unaroyal unit.

Before he was released to the Magic Kingdom by Queen Bea he pledged to work only for royal sides.

The earliest turn that he is seen is when he was involved in healing Sylvia when she, a level 1 stabber, was burnt in an city when they both were Unaroyal units. LIAB 86

While a caster, the extent of Jojo's Mojo is not yet clear, however it isn't trivial.

Real World References
Fedor Jeftichew was a 19th century circus sideshow performer, "Jojo the Dog-faced Boy," who moved to the United States to tour with P.T. Barnum at 16. Jeftichew the Carnymancer sports similar dress and facial hair (though Jefftichew's seems to be within the normal human range, rather than hypertrichosis).

Jeftichew wears something very like a uniform worn by George Harrison's "Sgt. His use of the line "Here comes the sun" is a reference to [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Here_Comes_the_Sun the song of the same name on The Beatles' 1969 album Abbey Road. The song was written by Harrison. The nickname "Jojo" may be a simultaneous reference both to the Barnum performer, who was known as Jo-Jo the Dog-Faced Man, and the Beatles song "Get Back" about a man named Jojo.

In light of this information, the fact that his name in-comic is spelled "Jefftichew," adding an "f," suggests a typo or alternate spelling.

Jszellmer:

While Judy Gale has been comfirmed as not being an Erfworld native, very little is known about the world from where she came. She might be from the Real World, Stupidworld, or even some other, as yet unidentified, world. This is an attempt to codify what is known about Judy's World.

Proposed Canon
The world "Kill" is used in place of the word "Croak" and means essentially the same thing.

A "Year" is a term used to measure a 365 day/turn cycle. This may be exactly 365 days or (like the Real World) a 365 day and change period that is referred to as 365 days for convenience purposes and results in a Leap Year.

A place called "Kansas" exists, which implies the existence of the native american indian tribe for which the place in the United States of America was named, possibly implying the existence of the USA or a very similar equivalent thereof. It is flat, windy and smells like pig boop. It contains rural areas, implying the existence of other areas, such as urban sites.

Her use of the word 'Boop' indicates that, like Parson Gotti, certain aspects of her speech are censored. However, by the time of her disappearance, she had not achieved (or been granted) the ability to circumvent this limitation.

Judy Gale is the same size as Jillian, Wanda and other Erfworld Men, and thus is smaller than Parson Gotti.

Speculation
If Judy is 'normal' sized for humans of her world, (and has not been changed/altered in order to make her the same size as Erfworlders) this likely means that she does not come from Stupidworld.

However, as there have been no size comparisons between Erfworlders and Real Worlders, she could come from the Real World, or from some other. If she is from the Real World, this could mean that Stupidworlders are larger than Real Worlders.

Since Dorothy Gale was a pre-teen in the original Oz stories written by L. Frank Baum, it may be an indication that she didn't grow physically taller in Erfworld, similarly to the way that Dorothy didn't grow taller when she was in Oz. Judy, however, did mature physically, which didn't seem to happen to Dorothy.
Lesser War Beasts are usually not heavies. While no less vicious, these Lesser War Beasts tend to rely on large numbers to compensate them for their relatively weak abilities. They tend not to need restraining between battles, but have similar control problems when battle is joined.

This may be exactly 365 days or (like the Real World) a 365 day and change period that is referred to as 365 days for convienvence purposes and results in a Leap Year.

A place called "Kansas" exists, which implies the existence of the native indian tribe for which the place in the United States of America was named, possibly implying the existence of the USA or a very similar equivalent thereof.

Speculation
If Judy is 'normal' sized for humans of her world, (and has not been changed/altered in order to make her the same size) this likely means that she does not come from Stupidworld. However, as there have been no size comparisons between Erfworlders and Real Worlders, she could come from the Real World, or from some other. If she is from the Real World, this would mean that Stupidworlders are larger than Real Worlders.
