:Pretty much. If someone is subvocalizing, you can see their throat move (and possibly their mouth as well), but they aren't pushing much air (if any) so it doesn't make much noticible sound. There is one page, though, where Parson is idly talking to himself ("...crappy way to make a job offer, Charlie, at least Kinkos gave me...") in the same panel as he's replying on the eyebook. I'm not sure if this was a case of simultaneity (-> uses thoughts), or one-after-the-other (-> subvocalization). Even if it's one-and-then-the-other, though, the book has to know somehow when he's [b]trying[/b] to send a message, and when he's not. Parson was also able to use his eyebook while ordered not to speak. I think there's conflicting (or complicated) evidence here, that points either way. As already noted on the page, this isn't ideal – in fact, good practice for HTML would have exactly one of these per page, as the page title (which the wiki software already does). Rather than massive headings, I'm actually thinking that we should put together some little templates (a la the Wikipedia Spoiler templates of old) to mark sections of the page as being of whatever canon status and automagically include 'em in the proper categories for review. In fact, I might whip up something basic to illustrate. <tt>:)</tt> —[[User:Revenant|Revenant]][[User talk:Revenant|Talk]] 10:48, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

==Capitalization==

We need to standardize on the use of capitals. I'm putting them in, others taking them out, and it's would be better if things were consistent. There is a good reason to capitalize terms that have rules behind them. Take, for instance the term [[Turn]]. For the purpose of game rules, Turn has a particular meaning, but it has other meanings as well. I can turn the knob on a dial. In order to distinguish Turn vs. turn, most game systems capitalize Turn. I suggest that wherever a game term is being used, it should be capitalized for clarity.

The other alternative is to Link every use of a defined term, in every single instance. But instead of a single letter change ('This' instead of 'this'), that requires '((This|that))', which is more work.

The following are a short list of game terms that should be capitalized: Turn, Side, Capital, Unit, Stack, Combat, Defense, Warlord, Caster, Barbarian.
--[[User:Kreistor|Kreistor]] 12:50, 2 May 2009 (UTC)
==References==
I found out why <ref> doesn't work. It requires an extension that has not been installed. See this [http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Cite/Cite.php Page] on MediaWiki. If Rob ever adds this extension, we should get rid of the sup /sup methd and switch to proper referencing. Unless someone out there knows how to do it without that extension. --[[User:Kreistor|Kreistor]] 12:58, 2 May 2009 (UTC)
:[[User talk:Balder#References|Indeed]]. I think our best bet if we want "proper" references is to use the older [[Wikipedia:Template:Ref|Ref]]/[[Wikipedia:Template:Note|Note]] system. Alternatively, we could stick with plain links – it's not like this is an encyclopedia, we don't need a bibliography/references section. Inline links would be fine, IMO. —[[User:Revenant|Revenant]][[User talk:Revenant|Talk]] 13:03, 2 May 2009 (UTC)
== Reusable formatting ==

If there is a little bit of block formatting or tables that is used over and over such as the stat blocks or the school of magic breakdown, please be sure to request a template. This will allow everything to appear consistent. I imagine we will end up making templates for factions, capitals, in the near future. We just have to decide on what they'll look like and what information we want in them.--[[User:Ichthus|Ichthus]] 14:57, 2 May 2009 (UTC)
::Thanks! Although we need a better definition of 'spoiler' as some people are going to see any future speculation as spoilers ala the Giantitp forums, and some just the creator's explicit spoilers. Any thoughts? --[[User:Doran|Doran]] 16:02, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
:::I think that most things that have shown up in the actual pages of the comic should not count as spoilers -- people can finish reading the comic before checking the wiki, and the wiki will look strange if 90% of it ends up being in white text. I think that future speculation should just be 'speculation', and put in that section, while specific commentary from the comic creators counts as 'spoiler' if it refers to future events.

R3u: Fixed link to RCC

=Speculation=
This final, and most successful, of [[Parson|Parson Gotti's]] [[Parsons Plans|plans]] during the [[Battle for Gobwin Knob]] occurred on the final day of the battle. In a desperate ploy to destroy the remaining forces of the [[Royal Crown Coalition]], [[Parson]] ordered [[Maggie]], [[Sizemore]], and [[Wanda]] to [[Fusion magic|link]] and to awaken the dormant volcano below [[Gobwin Knob]]. The resulting explosion destroyed all of the RCC, and all but a few of Gobwin Knob's defenders.

==Resources==
The plan required the following resources:
* a [[Thinkamancer]], [[Maggie]], to form the link
* a [[Dirtamancer]], [[Sizemore]], to provide the expert knowledge of the materials in and parts of the volcano
* a [[Croakamancer]], [[Wanda]], to reawaken the dead volcano

==The Plan==
[[Parson]] and the forces of [[Gobwin Knob]] had been forced into the Dungeon [[Zone]]. [[Ansom]] had been killed, but [[Scarlet]] had grasped the reins of the [[RCC]] and pressed home the attack on all sides. Encircled, the defenders had no hope of escape. Parson retreated as far as he could, choosing the [[Portal]] room as the place of the final stand, because at least there, the [[Casters]] alone could escape the onslaught by taking the [[Portal]] to the [[Magic Kingdom]]. Parson ran the numbers on his [[Mathamancy Bracer]], and determined that the fight was hopeless. He told the [[Casters]] this, and suggested it was time for them to leave through the Portal to the [[Magic Kingdom]].

The three [[casters]] all realized that he hadn't ordered them into the [[Portal]], and [[Maggie]] suggested that it was because of the Summoning [[Magic|Spell]] that brought [[Parson]] to [[Erfworld]]. The spell had the effect of killing him if he ever disobeyed orders, and so he could not order the casters away, because he may still have a hope for victory. Parson revealed an inner suspicion: he had been planning to put his gamers back on Earth through a game they could not win without cheating, and to ensure that happened, he planned to cheat them if they ever started winning honestly. He suspected this was happening to himself, and so to win, he needed to cheat.

Parson ordered the three casters -- [[Maggie]], [[Sizemore]], and [[Wanda]] -- to [[Fusion magic|link]] and [[uncroaked|uncroak]] the volcano. This was done, and they performed the assigned tack. [[Parson]], hearing the task had succeeded, hesitated then ordered the linked [[Casters]] through the [[Portal]]. With the volcano collapsing around him, [[Parson]] leapt into the Portal himself, guessing that this might send him back to Earth.

==Aftermath==
The [[RCC]] was destroyed down to the last man. There were no survivors. The [[city]] of [[Gobwin Knob]] had been reduced to Level 1 before the plan was hatched, and was further damaged in the explosion, but remained a Level 1 city, capable of producing [[Units]] and [[ration|rations]]. Only a few [[uncroaked]] and two [[golem|rock golems]] survived.

The three [[Casters]] were safely removed from the [[Fusion magic|link]] by their comrades in the [[Magic Kingdom]]. [[Parson]] wound up in the Magic Kingdom, much to his own surprise, and after a brief stint with unconsciousness, returned with the others through the [[Portal]] to [[Gobwin Knob]].

There were side effects of the explosion.

The terrain in the vicinity changed, but most importantly, [[Sizemore]] had noticed that there were still pockets of gemstones in the mines previously thought defunct, so he tried to control the explosion such that the largest of these would become available. His success resulted in Gobin Knob becoming the most profitable real estate on Erfworld.

The [[croaking]] of [[Scarlet]] left the [[Arkenpliers]] unclaimed. [[Wanda]] sought them immediately upon exiting the [[Portal]], found them, and immediately attuned. The explosion left many corpses for the [[Master-class]] [[Croakamancer]], including that of [[Prince Ansom]]. The Arkenpliers allowed her to [[uncroaked|uncroak]] Ansom into a new type of [[Unit]] -- one with sentience and a form superficially identical to a living [[Men|human]], with most of his memories and all of his [[Level|Levels]] restored, a new attitude conducive to working for [[Gobwin Knob]] and [[Parson]], and probably enslaving him to [[Wanda]] (though his words seem to indicate an allegience to [[Gobwin Knob]]). [[Wanda]] also [[uncroaked]] a large number of units as she had earlier, providing [[Gobwin Knob]] with a new army to replace the one lost earlier.

[[Gobwin Knob]] is probably still below its military strength at the beginning of the [[Battle for Gobwin Knob]], but it has defenders, [[Warlords]], [[Casters]], several [[dwagons]], two [[Arkentool|Arkentools]], [[Parson Gotti]], and the resources to rebuild.

This section is incomplete, because some of the results are still not known. The losses to the [[RCC]] troops are known to have been total, but not how much this was relative to their [[Side|Side's]] total strength. [[Twoll|Twolls]] regenerate and may have survived. [[Stanley]] has still not arrived and spoiled any of these positive results: he was obsessing for the [[Arkentool|Arkentools]], so there may be conflict with [[Wanda]] over ownership.
* The spell to summon [[Parson]] cost a total of 500,000[http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0005.html] Shmuckers; 150,000 for the casting and support plan, 350,000 (which is all that [[Stanley]] would pay) for the spell itself. Stanley considered this an outrageous sum, and the larger figure was literally Gobwin Knob's entire treasury[http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0006.html] at the start of the comic.
* [[Charlie]] tried to charge [[Don King]] 250,000 per turn to ally himself with [[Transylvito]] in order to ambush [[Stanley]] on his way to [[Faq]].[http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0119.html] The price was high, and designed to make Don King reluctant to pay.
* [[Jillian]] argues that 2,500 Shmuckers for [[Charlie]]'s [[Thinkagram]][http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0057.html] service is far from a "nominal" fee as advertised by one of the [[Archon]]s. [[Webinar]] mentions that the fee is "for two-way". A presumably one-way Thinkagram to [[Ansom]] cost her 1700 Shmuckers, which was almost her entire purse.[http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0092.html]
* [[Parson|Parson's]] upkeep is "over 1,000 Shmuckers per turn"[http://www.erfworld.com/book-1-archive/?px=%2F039.jpg]. Stanley seems to regard this as annoyingly expensive, but not utterly outrageous.
::I have to disagree. I know that what I was initially doing was too mcuh, but one link per page is far too little. There is nothing as frustrating as reading a 20 page Wikipedia article, finding an intriguing name, and then not being able to click on it. That name is somewhere in 20 pages... and I need to hunt through it because some people don't like a little blue with their black? How is one link per paragraph? --[[User:Kreistor|Kreistor]] 01:18, 3 May 2009 (UTC)

I agree that references should be made to the three sources named, but we shouldn't completely rule out other sources. For example the "Stanley song" on FuMP: http://www.thefump.com/lyrics.php?id=107 or the Hamstard comic: http://www.hamstard.com/ or interviews or the knol stuff: http://knol.google.com/k/robert-balder/erfworld/23skug9txczm1/2 . --[[User:Welf von Ehrwald|Welf von Ehrwald]] 12:38, 2 May 2009 (UTC)
:''(So <nowiki>[[Erfworld mechanics]]</nowiki> does not link to Erfworld Mechanics.) ''
This is why it's generally a good idea to name pages in sentence case (capitalise first word and proper nouns only). Makes it a lot easier to make links in natural language without <tt><nowiki>[[Awkward Capitalisation]]</nowiki></tt>, <tt><nowiki>[[Redundant Link Titles|redundant link titles]]</nowiki></tt>, or (almost) pointless redirects. —[[User:Revenant|Revenant]][[User talk:Revenant|Talk]] 12:51, 2 May 2009 (UTC)
::When using color in a webpage, something too vivid or dark can be hard on the eyes, or just hard to read -- so it's really really important to be careful. I think these could use a little color-shifting -- if they were in the pastel color range, it could work well. As is, though.. they seem too distracting and attention-grabbing. [[User:R3u|R3u]] 02:22, 3 May 2009 (UTC)

==Capitalization==

:I agree – capitalise where we're referring to a game mechanic. —[[User:Revenant|Revenant]][[User talk:Revenant|Talk]] 13:53, 2 May 2009 (UTC)
==References==
== Reusable formatting ==

==Classes==
Units come in classes. Classes determine unit abilities and limitations.

There are classes of special significance:
* [[Caster]]
* [[Warlord]]
* [[Overlord]]

==Unit Stats and Abilities==

Every unit has at minimum four sets of statistics (stats)[http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0044.html]:
* [[Move]]
* [[Combat_(stat)|Combat]] (also referred to as Attack by [[Parson]])
* [[Defense]]

Units also have two hidden statistics -- [[Thinkamancy#Natural_Thinkamancy|Loyalty]] and [[Experience]]. Every Unit also has a [[Level]], which at least some Erfworlders are able to percieve[http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0158.html] but Parson may not be (as level does not appear in any of the statblocks shown in the comic thusfar).

Units may also have special (or natural) abilities, such as flight, a special attack, regeneration, [[Warlord|leadership]], or [[Caster|casting]]). A listing of known special and natural abilities follows.

===Natural Abilities===
Some units have abilities that can achieve particular results, and can be used when not on [[Turn]].[http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showpost.php?p=5931853&postcount=231] These abilities are named Natural Abilities.[http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0044.html]
==Unit Level==
Unit efficiency in combat is affected by its [[level]]. The higher is the level of a unit - the stronger is the unit. Units rise in levels (or simply level) when enough combat experience is accumulated.[http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0061.html][http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0071.html][http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0145.html]
[[Webinar]] mentions that the fee is "for two-way".
* [[Jillian]] mentions that her [[Thinkagram]] to [[Ansom]] (apparently a service provided by an [[Archon]]) cost her 1700 Shmuckers, which was almost her entire purse.[http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0092.html]
* [[Parson|Parson's]] upkeep is "over 1,000 Shmuckers per turn"[http://www.erfworld.com/book-1-archive/?px=%2F039.jpg]. Stanley seems to regard this as annoyingly expensive, but not utterly outrageous.
Everything that fights is a Unit.[http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0044.html] Units may be grouped into [[stack|stacks]].

==Classes==
Units come in classes. Classes determine unit abilities and limitations.

There are classes of special significance:
* [[Caster]]
* [[Warlord]]
* [[Overlord]]

==Unit Stats and Abilities==

Every unit has at minimum four sets of statistics (stats)[http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0044.html]:
* [[Movement|Move]]
* [[Hits]] (wounded units completely heal prior to starting next turn[http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0052.html])
* [[Combat Statistic|Combat]] (also referred to as Attack by [[Parson]])
* [[Defense Statistic|Defense]]

Units also have two hidden statistics -- [[Level]] and [[Experience]].

===Natural Abilities===
Some units have abilities that can achieve particular results, and can be used when not on [[Turn]].[http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showpost.php?p=5931853&postcount=231] These abilities are named Natural Abilities.[http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0044.html]
|}

Units may also have special (or natural) abilities (some of these are flight, fire, regeneration, poison, [[Warlord|leadership]], [[Caster|caster]]).

==Unit Level==

==Royal and Noble Units==
Royal and noble units have slightly stronger stats, and level faster.[http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0088.html]
Cities ruled by royals pop nobles (and more royals).
Apparently, royal units act as [[heir|heirs]] to their kingdoms.

=Speculation=
It seems that every being seen in [[Erfworld]] so far is a unit.

Apparently combat classes include infantry, heavies, and so on. Infantry might come in more classes or subclasses (e.g. Piker-class infantry, Stabber-class infantry, Archer-class infantry, Knight-class infantry, etc.)[http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0084.html]
Misty was a [[Lookamancer]] in service to [[Stanley the Tool]].

===Description===

Misty the Lookamancer was part of a group of three linked casters, along with a [[Foolamancer]] ([[Jack Snipe]]) and a [[Thinkamancer]] ([[Maggie]]). This combination was used by Stanley as an command-and-control center: The Lookamancer determined the identities and positions of units on the battlefield; the Foolamancer presented this information in a readily understood display; and the Thinkamancer relayed reports and orders.

===Plot===

One night, [[Parson Gotti]] entered the situation room after thinking of a plan that might possibly salvage Gobwin Knob's desperate situation. He found Misty awake and able to interact with him as an individual. She explained to him that his original idea for an "exploitable mechanic" (having units use leftover move from the previous turn to redeploy at night, before the new turn began) would not work. After a brief outburst of frustration, Parson apologized for disturbing her, and told her to go back to sleep. Instead, she insisted on remaining and helping him work on a new attack plan.

What Parson did not realize at the time was that dealing with a linked caster as an individual risked breaking the link, with potentially dire consequences. The link survived Misty's conversation with Parson, but later was broken by Stanley so that he could take the Foolamancer with him as he fled [[Gobwin Knob]]. The severing of the link proved fatal to Misty.

Parson ensured Misty was buried. It is unknown if this counts as 'moving the body', as far as [[croaking]] mechanics are concerned.
[[File:JillianZamussels.png|right]]
Jillian Zamussels is a mercenary [[warlord]] in the service of [[Prince Ansom]]'s [[Royal Crown Coalition]] against [[Stanley the Tool]]'s [[Gobwin Knob]] faction. Originally the heir to [[King Banhammer]] of the [[Faq|Kingdom of Faq]] she became a barbarian when Faq was destroyed, supposedly in a covert operation staged by [[Stanley]] during his rise to power.

==Information==

===Plot===
Jillian is a barbarian warlord, hired to lead Prince Ansom's flying units. She is a good tactical fighter, but reckless, and has been known to seek out combat even when it is irrelevant to the mission and contrary to orders.

Her personal relationship to Prince Ansom is ambiguous when the two first meet. She rejects an invitation to spend the night in his tent; however, she later approaches the tent as if reconsidering the offer... but then walks away.

While flying a scouting mission, riding a [[gwiffon]] with a flight of [[orly]]s as support, Jillian encounters a group of Stanley's [[dwagon]]s. She croaks a blue dwagon before she is captured and taken to [[Gobwin Knob]].

When [[Wanda Firebaugh]] arrives to interrogate her, Jillian proposes that "both of us get out of here." Wanda's response is to strike her with a whip and instruct Jillian to address her as "Mistress". After Jillian complies, Wanda casts an unspecified spell.

After the interrogation, Jillian shows signs of considerable physical torture, and has apparently told Wanda everything she wanted to know. However, she is also chatting with her interrogator in an offhand, even friendly, manner. There is a strong implication (at least) of a sadomasochistic relationship between the two.

The following turn, Jillian is used as bait in a trap to lure Ansom out to where he could easily be ambushed by Stanley's Dwagons. The plan failed, and Jillian met up with [[Sir Webinar]] and [[Dora]], and then [[Charlie]]'s [[Archon|Archons]].
My intention was to collapse the two sub-sentences into one, as a means of making the description more concise/pretty without losing information. I'd be just as fine with "Parson is opposed and knocked unconscious by casters in the Magic Kingdom" or some similar. A type of [[Dwagon]].

Its breath weapon resembles a bubble of pink bubble gum and, presumably, causes the target to suffocate.[http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0031.html][http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0056.html][http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0063.html] There is some evidence that suffocation isn't the only effect the breath weapon has[http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0063.html] (note the Woodsy Elf that has apparently croaked from a hit to the stomach).

They, along with [[Yellow Dwagons|yellow]] and [[Purple Dwagons|purple]], are described as one of the weaker varieties of dwagon[http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0062.html][http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0064.html].

Pink dwagons may have lower move than some other varieties of dwagon as they were not used for the initial attack on the seige (in which all dwagons had 56+ move)[http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0052.html], but were described as being strong examples[http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0064.html] (presumably high level) of their sub-type. This is not conclusive as the placement of high-level, weak-seeming dwagons at the back of the ring formation may have been a ruse by [[Parson]].
Stanley the Tool (originally "Stanley the Plaid") is the [[Overlord]] of the [[Gobwin Knob|Plaid tribe]]. Also referred to by his enemies as Stanley the Worm.
'''[[Eyebook]] Username:''' OverLord1 <br>

===Pop and early turns===
Before the story started, Stanley started out as a piker-class infantry under the command of [[King Saline IV]] of the Plaid. Eventually, Stanley was promoted to a Warlord by Saline, and he found the [[Arkenhammer]], tamed [[Dwagons]], and was eventually promoted to the [[Chief Warlord]] and [[Heir Designate]] of Saline.[http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0087.html]

At one point, Stanley took a number of the Plaid's casters, [[Sizemore Rockwell]] among them, on a special mission of undisclosed purpose; when Stanley's group returned to [[Gobwin Knob]], they found that it had fallen to an attack from the [[Gobwins]] breaking their alliance. With the dwagons, casters, and the bonus from the Arkenhammer, Stanley easily retook the city and became the [[Overlord]] of [[Gobwin Knob]].[http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0087.html] [[Ansom]] believed that [[Stanley]] orchestrated this rebellion to come to power.[http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0034.html]

===Recent turns===

Stanley decided to start a quest for the Arkentools. The exact intention and course of this campaign is unknown, although it is mentioned that he attacked [[Transylvito]] faction, [[Elves]] and destroyed the [[Milquetoast|Milquetoast Clan]].[http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0034.html]
As a result of the campaign Stanley lost 10 of his 11 cities and all of his leadership corps.[http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0005.html]<br>
During the quest, an alliance formed with the aim to defeat Stanley, known as the [[Royal Crown Coalition]].

===Story: Chapter 1===

Due to the croaking of [[Manpower the Temporary]] Stanley needed to choose a new chief warlord. His adviser, [[Wanda Firebaugh]] convinced him to summon the perfect warlord[http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0005.html], who turned out to be [[Parson Gotti]][http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0017.html].

===Achievements===

*Stanley managed to make his way from common infantry to overlord, a very rare career
*He found one of the [[Arkentools]], the [[Arkenhammer]], and was attuned to it
*He used the Arkenhammer to tame [[dwagon|dwagons]]

===Battle style===

Stanley's preferred style is [[dance fight]]. He has for this purpose a order of knights who also can dance fight, the [[Knights in Stanley's Service]]. This is well known fact even in the alliance, and the forces of [[Transylvito]] prepared themselves for this tactic when the planed the trap in the choke point to FAQ.

Originally from Earth, he was summoned to Erfworld by [[Wanda Firebaugh]], and was appointed [[Chief Warlord]] under [[Stanley the Tool]] of the [[Plaid tribe]].
===Plot===
Parson is first seen on [http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0014.html page 14], where he went through a normal day, then, presumably later that evening, he was discussing marshmallow peeps with one of his, unnamed, friends. Within a few moments, after the arrival of three other friends (two unnamed, one named Ashna), as Parson was introducing them to his game, he was transported to [[Gobwin Knob]]; which bears a strong resemblance to the set up game board.

Upon arrival, Parson was "greeted" by Stanley and Wanda; and quickly discovered Erfworld's [[Boop|censorship]]. After an exchange of questions, and Parson explaining some strategy to Stanley, he was made the official Chief Warlord under Stanley. Since then he developed and executed a number of [[Parsons Plans|plans]].

===Trivia===
*Parson is named after his grandfather: whether this is his matrilineal or patrilineal grandfather is unknown.

===Plot===
Immediately after [[Jillian Zamussels]] leaves to fly a scouting mission, [[Prince Ansom]] sends for Sir Webinar, giving him orders to assemble a group of seven heavy units and follow Jillian. His mission is ground support, or rescue/recovery if that becomes necessary. He takes [[Dora]], several [[golems|cloth golems]] and [[tchotchke|tchotchkes]], and a [[sourmander]] and proceeds cross-country in the direction of [[Gobwin Knob]].

After encountering a squad of [[spidew|spidews]], losing one of his cloth golems in the battle, he realizes that he hasn't seen any of the enemy's [[dwagon|dwagons]]. He decides to pick up the pace, following a road rather than a cross-country path as per his original instructions.

However, he is too late to provide assistance, and finds Jillian's sword and message hat on the ground where they were dropped before she was captured. Webinar uses the message hat to report this news to Ansom.

Later, Webinar's group finds Jillian, who reports that she has escaped through the tunnels under Gobwin Knob. Webinar and Dora are suspicious of her story, and Webinar goes so far as to accuse her of being a turncoat.

Webinar is later chosen by Prince Ansom to lead the Jetstone and Marbit troops in an attack on the tunnels under Gobwin Knob. Although Webinar is initially doubtful of his qualification he agrees to lead the attack anyway.

The attack fails as a rock golem controlled by [[Sizemore Rockwell]] crushes Webinar and Dora.

Soon after, he, along with Dora and the rest of the fallen members of the tunnel force are uncroaked by [[Wanda Firebaugh]]. While the majority of the tunnel force are placed on the walls, Webinar and Dora accompany Wanda for a strike against Prince Ansom, where he and Dora are destroyed for good by [[Archons]].
Sizemore Rockwell is a Dirtamancer in the service of [[Stanley the Tool|Lord Stanley]]. His main duty as the story opens is to animate [[Crap Golem|crap golems]]. Earlier, he bored a large number of mining tunnels in the volcanic base of [[Gobwin Knob]]; however the gems have now been mined out. He had also, at some point, crafted multiple [[Soft Rock Golems]], [[Hard Rock Golems]], [[Acid Rock Golems]], and one [[Metal Golem]].

His personality is that of a meek intellectual. He has attempted to learn various types of magic, and has a basic theoretical understanding of magic in general, but has no practical ability at using any magicks other than Dirtamancy.

Soon after Parson is summoned, Sizemore teaches him some of the basics of the Erfworld [[Erfworld Magic|magic system]], and teaches him about several magic items, and about the Thinkamancy link. After Stanley leaves Gobwin Knob, Parson leaves him to modify the tunnels under Gobwin Knob along with his golems.
Prince Ansom was the [[Chief Warlord]] to [[King Slately]] of [[Jetstone]] and the leader of the [[Royal Crown Coalition]] against [[Stanley the Tool|Lord Stanley]].

==Information==
===Stats===
Special: Leadership, [[Royal]] <br>
Status: [[Croaked]]

===Plot===
Prince Ansom's forces included his own Jetstone tribe, other Royal-ruled tribes, various tribes of [[Elves]], and [[Marbits]]. His goal was to conquer Stanley's last remaining city and put an end to him. As the story began, he anticipated an easy victory, given the massive numerical superiority of his forces and Stanley's history of inept leadership.

His publicly declared reason for leading the fight was to rid the world of Stanley's "great evil" (several of the other coalition members have been attacked by Stanley, though Jetstone itself has suffered only minor skirmishes with him prior to the current war). However, [[Vinny Doombats]] suspected that his real motivation is that he disliked Stanley's rise from common infantry unit to Overlord. Ansom would deflect the question rather than answer it, giving the impression that the suspicion was correct.

Ansom strongly believed in the special status of royalty and nobility. This manifests as a strong sense of noblesse oblige and personal courage. On the other hand, it fed his tendency toward overconfidence and caused him to underestimate his "inferiors".

He possessed, but was not attuned to, the [[Arkenpliers]]. Even unattuned, they have the ability to "turn most uncroaked to dust"; it is not known what abilities they would manifest in the hands of an attuned wielder.

Ansom was ambushed by [[Bogroll]] under the guise of a surrender and was subsequently [[Croaked|croaked]]. His corpse is currently in the possession of Stanley's [[croakamancer]], [[Wanda Firebaugh]].
===Description===

===Plot===
