There are a large number of errors and changes that have appeared in the print edition of Book 1. This page will attempt to list all such differences. Most of the changes are small dialog alterations. Most were intentional. Page numbers here refer to the page numbers in the print version.

=Background=
After ending [[Gobwin Knob]]'s turn early by [[Turnamancy]], Queen [[Jillian Zamussels]] of [[FAQ]] left the [[Siege of Spacerock]] before it ended.

She and her [[Chief Warlord]] [[Duncan Scone]] planned to [[raze]] several Gobwin Knob cities on their way back to FAQ, including [[Brookstone]] and [[Progrock]] {{erf|2|30}}.

[[Charlie]] initiated a [[Thinkagram]] to her, telling her to return, but Duncan was able to convince her to keep to their original plan, partly through the implication that Charlie might have been trying to influence her with magical suggestion {{Erf|2|T32}}

Because [[Vanna]] had already ended Gobwin Knob's turn prematurely and then tried to [[turning|turn]] [[Prince Ansom]] to [[FAQ]], she began the Attack of Progrock at zero [[juice]].

=The Attack=

Queen Zamussels initiated the entirely aerial assault with basic screening maneuvers and a relatively unopposed move on the Tower through the air space. Her prisoner, Ansom, chided her for skipping protocol of circling the garrison to scout before attacking, but she ignored his comments and did not encounter any unexpected traps or resistance. During the battle, with victory imminent, Queen Zamussels began taking prisoners (with the implied intent of having Vanna mass turn them to shore up Faq's infantry), but only with living units; she ordered decrypted enemy units destroyed and crushed several to dust with her Megalogwiff mount (by engulfing them as Ansom was and then squeezing them to death). As the battle ended, Ansom indicated to the Queen that he did not approve of her conduct regarding the decrypted units. {{Erf|2|T43}}

The loss of a city did not escape the notice of Gobwin Knob's Chief Warlord, Parson Gotti, who made a note to deal with retaking the city and possibly hunting down Queen Zamussel's strike force on the next turn (and left orders to have his successor do the same if he were to croak in the action at Jetstone that turn). {{Erf|2|56}}

=Background=

Because [[Vanna]] had already ended Gobwin Knob's turn prematurely and then tried to [[turning|turn]] [[Prince Ansom]] to [[FAQ]], she began the Attack of Progrock at zero [[juice]].

There were no [[Commanders]] of any kind stationed in defense of Progrock and the stored defenses went off automatically. Jillian decided to expedite the attack by skipping proper reconnaissance. Ansom criticized her for this action though this criticism landed on deaf ears as FAQ's forces secured the main tower with ease.

It was then learned that two-thirds of Gobwin Knobs forces in the area had been living units, the last third being decrypted. Jillian, after consulting Vanna, changed her plan and started to focus on capturing living forces inside her megalogwiffs on her way to seize the garrison. Mistakenly captured Decrypted were crushed.

After cleanly seizing the city living prisoners were marched out and "loaded" into Megaloqiffs, Decrypted units were executed. After capturing as many prisoners she could Jillian razed the level 3 city for a total of 40,000 Schmuckers. This, it was commented on, would be enough to sustain her side's entire upkeep for Eight to Ten turns, including those just captured. {{Erf|2|T43}}
