| In the foreground is a closeup view of the right side of Wanda's face. She has an intent expression. In the background, is a door, with a sound effect indicating that it has just closed. | [edit] |
| Sound: FERDUMPCLICK! | [edit] |
| A wide view of Wanda's quarters. In the background are a double bed, a stand with several lights at the top, a wide door with a large skull mounted on the wall above it, a standing privacy screen, and a bookcase. Wanda is walking toward the screen. In the foreground is a table with several odd skulls that appear to be sporting tentacles. | [edit] |
| (There is no text in this panel.) | [edit] |
| A closeup view of the screen. Part of Wanda's outfit has just been tossed onto the top of it from behind. | [edit] |
| Sound: FLING! | [edit] |
| At the base of the Tower of Efdup, Parson is leaning over and propping himself on the edge of a doorway. Stanley is standing just outside the doorway, facing Parson and waving toward a line of uncroaked units, which are seen from the rear. The first one (from left to right in the frame) is little more than a skeleton wearing a red shirt. The next has green flesh covering the right side of its skull, and is wearing armor with a picture of a foot with a toe tag on the back. The third has a protruding bone for a left arm, and is wearing a German "coal-scuttle" helmet and a firing-range target design on its back. The next has bright pink hair. The last looks almost normal except for his green pallor. Behind the line of uncroaked stands a gobwin. | [edit] |

Parson Gotti: Whee. Stairs... Stanley the Tool: These are your warlords, such as they are. In descending order of freshness... meet Lord Manpower the Temporary, Lady Phat-Singh, Archduke Ferdinand, Sir Leeroy Jenkins, and Ensign Toast.[1] | [edit] |
| A closer view of Lady Phat-Singh and Archduke Ferdinand. Both are mostly dressed in black. Phat-Singh has a sniper-scope crosshairs on her breast; Ferdinand has the firing-range target on the front as well as the back of his armor. | [edit] |
|
Parson Gotti: Oh I am definitely in a coma. So are they alive, or what? | [edit] |
| Stanley is standing next to Manpower the Temporary. In the background behind them we see a large number of miscellaneous units. | [edit] |
|
Stanley the Tool: Uncroaked. They each fell in battle, and Wanda... whatchacallit... Parson Gotti: Animated them? Stanley the Tool: Animated them. They can follow simple orders and lead troops. Parson Gotti: But they have no will? Stanley the Tool: Fraid not. Parson Gotti: So, not alive. And they deteriorate over time? | [edit] |
| Stanley grins. | [edit] |
|
Stanley the Tool: Yep. Does make 'em cheap to feed, though. | [edit] |
| Parson stares, looking flummoxed. | [edit] |
| Stanley the Tool: Ahem. | [edit] |
| Parson is doubled over, his eyes closed, his face scrunched up, his mouth wide open. | [edit] |
| Parson Gotti: Bwahahah hee hee heh! | [edit] |
| Stanley looks unhappily at Parson. | [edit] |
|
Parson Gotti: Good one. Stanley the Tool: Know what? Forget the joke thing. | [edit] |
| Stanley closes his eyes and waves his arm dismissively. At his side, Manpower stands with his mouth open. | [edit] |
|
Stanley the Tool: I have a wry, sophisticated sense of humor. Can't always be explaining every nuance to you. Manpower the Temporary: Pie.[2] | [edit] |
[edit] Notes
- ^ Introduction: Lady Phat-Singh, Archduke Ferdinand, Sir Leeroy Jenkins, and Ensign Toast are seen for the first time.
- ^ Apparently, Manpower can still taste key lime pie.
