Previous TBFGK 46a Next TBFGK 48 [edit]

Panel 1

Misty looks up at Parson with a smile, and maybe admiration. She is bathed in the warm glow of the glowing yellow ball, but the Situation Room is still green and it doesn't improve her pallor. Parson's right hand is placing a green dwagon figurine on the table, amidst a collection of other dwagon figurines.[edit]

Parson Gotti: So we have nineteen with 56+ move, and they'll be cycling from this base hex.

Misty: Mm.
[edit]

Panel 2

Misty's face has taken a look of horror, as she gasps in fright. Parson still has the green dwagon figurine in his hand.[edit]

Parson Gotti: Manpower and Leeroy will trade out mounts as theirs get wounded, with-

Misty: *gasp*

Parson Gotti: What?
[edit]

Panel 3

The back of a black and red clad Wanda dominates the left, with Misty cringing as she rushes past the Croakamancer on the right of the panel, while Parson is still at the table in the background.[edit]

Misty: My Lady!

Please, am s-sorry...
[edit]

Panel 4

From below, a viciously angry Wanda points at Parson. The light effects amplify her wrathful expression.[edit]

Wanda Firebaugh: Parson, you--

Do you wish to be the shortest-lived warlord we have ever had?

I admit that would be an impressive accomplishment...

Parson Gotti: What did I do wrong now?
[edit]

Panel 5

Wanda is shown in profile from her right. The stark light sharpens her contours.[edit]

Wanda Firebaugh: The Eyemancers may be our single most valuable asset, above even the Arkenhammer.

Ordering them linked was... the shrewdest thing I've ever known Stanley to do.

They created the Eyebooks.

They give us unmatched communications and intelliegence. When Stanley sees you have tampered with their functioning...
[edit]

Panel 6

This is a long range shot of Wanda and Parson talking at the table, angled about 20 degrees to the left. Both are sitting, on opposite sides, with this panel showing Wanda's back. The green coloration continues, darker this time because of the distance from the glowing yellow light.[edit]

Parson Gotti: Wait, unmatched?

I assumed everyone had a setup like this.
[edit]

Panel 7

This view of Wanda shows a skull decoration adorning the hair above her left ear. She is standing with her arms crossed.[edit]

Wanda Firebaugh: Why would you think that?

Ansom has no Lookamancers.
[edit]

Panel 8

A close-up of Parson, angled to the left. He is grinning a little cruelly.[edit]

Parson Gotti: ...

Oh, I am an idiot.

Of course. He has to use scouts.
[edit]

Panel 9

Parson is standing, and shown from the floor directly in front of him. His arms are raised in the air.[edit]

Parson Gotti: He has to use hats!

He can't see us!

Hoohoo!
[edit]

Panel 10

Parson is shown from above as he bends down over the table, fiddling with something.[edit]
Parson Gotti: That's gonna add a whole new dimension to this plan... [edit]

Panel 11

Parson is sitting once again, with his fists supporting his chin. Wanda has moved over to look over Parson's shoulder. She looks interested in whatever Parson is contemplating.[edit]

Wanda Firebaugh: You have thought of something?

Parson Gotti: Oh, yeah!

This is huge.

We can change the whole course of this battle.
[edit]

Panel 12

Wanda has backed away from Parson, but is still observing him from further back. Parson is looking over his shoulder at her.[edit]

Parson Gotti: For almost no cost!

See we send the dwagons at the column, right?

But the--

Wanda Firebaugh: *sigh*

Do what you need to do, but quickly.

Order the attack the moment our turn starts.
[edit]

Panel 13

Wanda is shown in a close-up. Her hair is stylishly disheveled, and her demeanor is seriously professional.[edit]

Wanda Firebaugh: That is your task, Warlord.

Mine may be harder.

For I must prevent our lord and master from disbanding you.
