Speculation and Discussion

Taken from the Magical Speculation thread in the forums:

  • something related to voodoo dolls and possibly cloth golems

I think we can rule out the voodoo-doll moving other sides units theory with the summer updates info. - the create doll-type golem units seems to be the correct one

Could a Dollamancer make hats (whether magical or mundane), or would their manufacture strictly be in the realm of Hat Magic? I can understand if Dollamancers aren't able to make magic hats, but what would stop them from making mundane hats? And, if they can create magic hats, how would a Dollamancer's magic hat be different than a Hat Magician's magic hat? Jszellmer September 10 11:15

Element and Axis

Dollamancy is Spookism, which is aligned to the element Motion. Dollamancy is also aligned to the axis of Fate. Motion and Fate could mean animating the unliving (golems) or forcing an enemy to move (voodoo). Alternatively, it could involve motion (change) of one's fate, influencing their future.
