Excellent new front page Mimnet! -- Doran 23:25, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
- Thank you very much. My next project involves changing the Community Portal and making a new portal for things like wiki matainece and the Improvment Drive. Sounds pretty boring, I know. But it's what I think the wiki needs most. We have very few articles that are good enough quality to be featured. Miment 23:53, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
Edit Links

- I'm going to revert your changes to the main page where you added edit links the the various sections. There's a reason why I didn't include them in the original main page. It helps keep the page clean and prevents people from editing those sections on a whim. you should use the above template, {{mainpagecontrol}}, to edit the main page. Miment 18:16, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
- I think that making it easier for people is better. The policy on the descriptive table of contents was to have [edit] links to allow people to change the pages. Otherwise, people have to search downwards through the templates. However, I do accept that making it a bit more effort to change the main page might be a good idea.

- Quite a bit late, I know, but I've moved the from {{contentbox}} to the main page code. Miment 02:28, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
Well, if we had a larger user base on this wiki, it would be nice to do away with the edit links. But we don't. I agree with you now Raphfrk that the main page should be easy to edit. Edits on a whim are better than no edits at all. Miment 23:17, 1 January 2010 (UTC)
Main Page version 2.1
I was thinking that we should change the {{featuredarticle}} and {{improvementdrive}}. instead of putting good articles in the featured article, we should put ones that need edited. I say that because the featured article gets more eidts than the improvement drive. In place of the current improvement drive, we'll just make a list of tasks (like "categorize uncategorize pages") and put links to them as appropriate. Thoughts? Miment 22:57, 27 December 2010 (UTC)
