Talk:Stanley the Tool
It seems there is a limit on how much you can write; I wanted to add two more paragraphs (achievements and battle style), but I couldn't :(

Weird! That shouldn't be. I'll try and figure it out. :(

Following error message appears:
"Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 20971520 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 64 bytes) in /var/www/wiki/includes/Hooks.php on line 35"
--Welf von Ehrwald 12:51, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
I've gotten that error a few times myself. It's not an error as to how much you can have in the Wiki, and I don't think that it has to do with how much you can edit at a time. Honestly? I don't know what would cause it. I'd almost think server-side. --OniExpress 13:21, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
I updated the memory allocation for php on the server so this shouldn't happen anymore. Let me know though if it does and I'll look deeper.
Strange; when I press "Show preview" the error message above appears; when I press "Save page" the messsage "Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 20971520 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 30720 bytes) in /var/www/wiki/includes/LinksUpdate.php on line 62" appears. But the changes are saved.

pastiche of George W. Bush?
Y'know.. cuz.. duh ;D
... Don't see it. --Xewleer
Neither do I. I think it should be removed; it seems like whoever added it was grasping at straws, hoping to find something else that could be counted as a mockery of a hated real-world figure. Kinda reminds me of that TV Tropes article "Everyone Is Jesus In Purgatory," except here, it's "Every Moron Has To Be George Bush." --18.104.22.168 21:06, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
Wait, we're removing the possibility of allusion to another incompetent, big eared, political leader, but leaving in the idea that he could be a reference to Stan Lee, the creator of many Marvel Comics, based on... having the same name? That seems more of a stretch to me. - No one in particular

"Stanley the plaid" name origin
I think that, now that we know how Wanda manipulated Stanley, the name "Stanley the Plaid" probably came from "Stanley the Played". Should it be mentioned as a Speculation?

- Not to be insensitive, but in what dialect does "plaid" sound like "played?" In America we say "Pladd." Where is Balder from? - Commander I. Heartly Noah June 4 2009
didn't mean to put up a Canon section, I was just trying to put the quote and the strengths & weaknesses at the top, but not the *very* top, and I couldn't manage it. - Commander I. Heartly Noah June 4 2009
