A Woodsy Owl is likely to be one of the unit types used by Ad Council.
A Woodsy Owl probably has a sonic attack, in the form of a "Hoot". Perhaps it cleans the adversary by sonically causing their weapons to disappear.
Real World References
"Woodsy the Owl" is part of an anti-pollution campaign by the real World Ad Council, with the slogan "Give a Hoot, don't pollute".
